I like it because it’s an honest kind of love. It’s there because of a willingness to look past an outer-shell and fall for all the imperfections. It’s not bullshitty, not perfect and pretty and there’s more heart breaking moments than not, but because of that their relationship is all the more realistic and easy to relate to. Seeing that a person like Guy Gardner can find someone that wont take his shit but will take the time to embrace the real him, makes me feel better about myself.
